What we do
With the help of thousands of volunteers each year, AGLG focuses on implementing on-ground restoration and revegetation projects as well as educating the community about local Landcare issues. These on-ground activities mainly involve planting native seedlings (trees, shrubs, herbs, sedges and rushes) and removing priority environmental weeds.
AGLG works closely with Local Government, State Government and other Landcare and Natural Resource Management organisations to coordinate a strategic approach to its Landcare activities.
AGLG is also able to provide technical advice to the local community and advocate for the environment where issues arise.
