Volunteering with AGLG
We have lots of events throughout the year and people can come along on the day and join in activities. Registration is available at site on the day.
Our group is always looking for extra hands to help out with a range of activities including:
- Planting, planting and more planting!
- Weeding
- Morning or afternoon tea setup
- Environmental information displays
- Caretaking/monitoring of bushland sites or waterways
The level of participation is up to you. Attend a single event or simply sign up to our newsletter to receive information about our projects and local environmental issues. Or just follow us on Facebook to get updates on upcoming events.

AGLG welcomes everyone along to our events. Bring your children, friends, neighbours and grandparents. AGLG supplies all equipment including tools, gloves, sunscreen and sometimes gumboots! All you need to bring is suitable clothing, shoes, hats and water bottles. Providing your details at registration on the day covers you for our volunteer insurance.
