Get your school involved

Schools, sporting groups and clubs are welcome to contact the AGLG and find out how they can have their group participate in landcare activities.

We have lots of weekend events throughout the year and groups can come along on the day and join in activities. Please contact us beforehand so that we can cater for the number of volunteers you are bringing along.

Bookings for weekday activities are also welcome. Please get in touch if you think your group will enjoy getting out and lending a hand to look after our bushland or waterways. The activities we can arrange include:

• Planting, planting and more planting!
• Weeding

These excursions can also include talks about the local environment, river health, habitat, local animals and the links to the landcare activities undertaken on the day.

Most of our planting activities are undertaken during the winter rainfall period, June and July. However, if you want your group to participate at other times, get in touch to discuss other opportunities.
